STD - Red Spots on Throat?

If a girl gives oral sex and has red spots on her throat after what does that mean?

Both me and my girlfriend had never been sexually active with anyone else, it was our first time. Soon after, she had red spots. Could it be allergies also?
I don’t see how it can be an STD since none of us were sexually active.

Also, there hasn’t been anything irregular on my penis. Her throat had red spots, now she says it’s just red and hurts.

Red Spots STD?

The problem with having sex at a young age (and I might be wrong, but that’s what it sounds like) is that you haven’t educated yourself enough to learn when to be worried and when not to be worried.

You should probably take a few moments to learn about how STDs are transmitted and how they aren’t transmitted.

STDs are transmitted when body fluids come into contact with each other:

• Unprotected sex
• Unprotected oral sex
• Anal sex

Now, you haven’t said if you use protection, but since both of you were virgins (and I’m assuming this is true), it’s more than likely not an STD.

But that doesn’t mean you’re in the clear.

What it sounds like is strep throat – that your girlfriend just happened to catch in the days leading up to your sexual activity, and the spots appeared then. She needs to head to her primary care doctor to get tested.

Let this be a lesson to you that you need to protect yourself – even during oral sex.

STDs can be transmitted very easily. And while you say you are monogamous, you might want to protect yourself in terms of preventing pregnancy.

Condoms are a cheap way to go, and the pill can serve as a way for your girlfriend to protect herself from pregnancy, but not from STDs. Condoms are the only ways to do that.

Oral Sex Risk of an STD?

Oral Sex STD?

Question about Oral sex and risk of an STD?

Ok yesterday I received oral sex from a female I shouldn’t of gotten it from. I didn’t have sex with her though, she only gave me oral.

I want to know what the chances are of a man catching something from receiving oral sex. And what symptoms should I look out for?

When should I go get tested? Doesn’t it take a certain amount of weeks or something for an STD to show in your system?

Thanks for your query, Just wondering, why weren’t you using protection?

STDs spread when bodily fluids come into contact with cuts or scrapes in the recipient’s mouth or genitals, or any other part of the body, for that matter.

If this female had a cut in her mouth and she had an STD, like AIDS, HIV, Gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, etc., yes, she could have passed it along to you without your knowing.

This is why it’s crucial to have her either use a dental dam or for you to use a condom, even during oral sex. Because you just don’t know what you’re getting into. The chances of getting an STD from oral sex? That’s hard to say. A lot of it depends on your health and the health of the other person that you were fooling around with. If you’re healthy and they’re healthy, the chances are pretty slim.

If you used protection, the chances are pretty slim.

But since it seems that you don’t know the STD status of this girl, there is probably about a 50% chance that you have gotten an STD. And the symptoms can vary depending on the disease that it is.

If you’re concerned, you should check with your doctor immediately to see if you can start treatment as quickly as possible. There’s no waiting period for most STDs, but HIV and AIDS will take longer to show up in your system.

But that’s still not an excuse to not get tested. If she is HIV positive or has AIDS, you can still start treatment now to lower your risk of infection.

Protect yourself!
